At Kansas City University, we strive to collaborate with local companies that have innovative solutions. Like many organizations, KCU takes great pride in our extraordinary efforts during the past 18 months to implement safe practices to mitigate the spread COVID-19. We also value environmentally friendly disinfectants and cleaning supplies. The LaserCycle team worked closely with KCU to demonstrate the effectiveness and natural process of their fogger system using the Danolyte HOCL disinfectant. We were extremely pleased with the complete absence of harsh fumes. Using both the corded and cordless foggers for a variety of applications throughout the campus, our Building Services staff were able to disinfect areas quickly and safely. This product and equipment have become an instrumental component of our overall plan and mitigation strategy to provide a safe environment for students, faculty, and staff.

The hypochlorous acid and fogger solution proposed and provided by LaserCycle is used in all Wagner operations breakrooms, conference rooms, common areas, and on common use forklift equipment throughout the United States. Using HOCI saves a considerable amount of time and money as compared to buying and using other forms of cleaning supplies; in just a few minutes our shared equipment can be sanitized between shifts giving all employees a sense of comfort and wellbeing. We use it on forklifts, breakroom tables, electronic equipment, computers, packing stations and in many other settings. The beauty of this cleaner is that it can be used in almost any environment and not only kills Covid, but also kills the seasonal flu and other things that are spread in the workplace in an environmentally friendly way.

In 2020, Cornerstones of Care- a behavioral health nonprofit- was continually looking for sources of PPE, which was challenging. Masks and other items were needed to ensure the health and safety of the children served in the community and on their residential campuses. The Cornerstones of Care team became aware of the Hypochlorous Acid Fogger, which is used to disinfect areas, including doctor offices and public transit. “We were familiar with LaserCycle as a company and learned they could source the foggers for us and deliver to our residential campuses within 48 hours of our first order,” stated Denise Cross, President & CEO. “The ability to partner with a local trusted company and meet the health and safety needs of our team members, and children, gave me peace of mind as we managed through the ever-changing challenges of the pandemic,” said Cross. We have found the ULV Cold Fogger is the best portable unit we have had the opportunity to use. This unit has an extensive reach with the Danolyte product, with a non-saturating (requires less product per square foot) even spread. It has a decent reservoir size that makes it easy to use, with accommodating portability at the same time. In addition, the Danolyte disinfectant is a product that does not clog the sprayer and has less of an aroma than most other disinfectants.
