Troubleshooting Tips: General FAQ's

1. What type of guarantee does your company offer?

We guarantee our cartridges 100% for sixty calendar days from date of purchase. If you try our product and for any reason feel dissatisfied we will replace the cartridge or refund your money.

2. Will using a remanufactured toner or inkjet cartridge void my printer's warranty?

No, Federal law prohibits any company or person from requiring you to purchase their OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) product. The Federal Trade Commission protects your rights as a consumer to purchase the product or service of your choice. The Magnusson-Moss Warranty Federal Trade Commission Improvement Act, Subparagraph C, Section 101, states this consumer protection law.

3. How do LaserCycle cartridges compare to OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) cartridges?

There is no noticeable difference in cartridge print quality or page yield. Each remanufactured cartridge goes through a comprehensive process including disassembly, cleaning, filling, component replacement and quality testing. Our cartridges are 100% post-tested to ensure that you receive the highest-quality cartridge.

4. Will I get the same number of printed pages from a LaserCycle cartridge as an OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) cartridge?

Yes. LaserCycle has invested extensive time and money in our Research & Development Department to ensure that a comparative page count is achieved on each cartridge we sell.

5. How much money will I save by purchasing a LaserCycle cartridge instead of an OEM cartridge?

You will typically save on average 30% of the price of an OEM cartridge. Depending on the quantities and cartridge types you use this could save you, your family and your company a tremendous amount of money annually.

6. How do I know that the cartridge will work properly once it has been remanufactured?

Each cartridge is quality tested to ensure its operational status. Our Quality Control Facilitators make sure only properly functioning cartridges are approved to sell.  Not only that, but our manufacturing partner has won numerous industry awards including Best Quality Inkjet Cartridge.

7. What if the cartridge I am looking for is not remanufactured?

LaserCycle also offers a wide variety of compatible and OEM cartridges. If you don't see the remanufactured cartridge you are looking for, we can get you a compatible or an OEM. Keep your eyes open, because there is a good possibility we will remanufacture your cartridge in the future. Our Research and Development department is always working to make more and more products available.

8. Can your company provide service work for my printer?

At LaserCycle we are proud to say we can service most of the major brands in the market. We specialize in HP, Lexmark, Samsung, Brother, Canon, Xerox, and Konica Minolta machines. We have a Service Department that provides on-site and depot repair work in the Kansas City area. We also have the ability to provide service across the nation. 9. How do I know which cartridge I need for my machine?

There is a reference guide in the Shop Online area of our site that should allow you to enter the model number from your machine and/or the OEM part number listed on your cartridge. That will let you know the correct part number you need to order.

10. How long will it take me to get my cartridges once I place an order with you?

Once you have placed an order with us the product will ship from our warehouse the same day or next day with the exception of Saturday, Sunday and Holidays. The product should arrive to you within the standard time frame based on the method of shipping you choose.

11. How much will shipping cost when I place an order?

Shipping costs vary based on the dollar amount of your purchase .

All orders over $80 will be shipped for free.  Orders under $80 will incur shipping & handling charges, or a local deliver fee of $6.95. A fuel surcharge may apply.

12. Does LaserCycle charge sales tax?

Yes, we charge the applicable sales tax in Kansas, Missouri, and California.

13. What should I do with my empty cartridge?

If you are a grenk™ customer, we will either pick up your empty cartridges at the same time we deliver your next order, or you may use the ARS label included in the box to ship it back to us. This way, we can guarantee that you are keeping the empty cartridge out of a landfill, and it will be properly disposed of.

14. What is the shelf life of your cartridges?

Our cartridge's shelf life is the same as the Original Equipment Manufacturer: 12 months from the time you purchase them. Properly stored in the original packaging in a cool and dry location, cartridges may last longer.

15. What should I do if I actually have a defective cartridge that I need to return?

Call us toll free at 1-800-219-9204 (Monday-Friday 8:00a-5:00p CST) and one of our Customer Service Representatives will help troubleshoot your problem to verify the defective cartridge status and issue a return tag for sending the defective cartridge back to LaserCycle. Once received and evaluated, we will replace the cartridge or refund your money.

16. If I am having printing problems or my cartridge is not working properly, what should I do?
